Location: Sutton, NG17 7RB - Full-time on-site
Contract Length: 6 months

Our client, a leader in metal packaging manufacturing, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to take charge of a high-volume production facility. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be driving operational performance, ensuring production targets are hit, quality standards are exceeded, and teams are performing at their best.
What you'll do:
Lead day-to-day plant operations for metal packaging manufacturing.
Manage production schedules, resources, and performance KPIs.
Drive continuous improvement, lean manufacturing, and cost control.
Ensure strict compliance with H&S, quality, and environmental standards.
Lead, coach, and develop operational teams to deliver results.
What you'll bring:
Strong operations management experience in manufacturing - ideally metal packaging, canning, or high-speed FMCG.
Proven leadership skills in a high-volume production environment.
Solid understanding of lean, CI, and manufacturing best practices.
Commercial awareness with budget control experience.
