Operations Manager - Engineering/Manufacturing

(Site T/Over £15 million with ambitious growth plans, Headcount circa 80 employees)
Key Tasks
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety across all manufacturing processes.
Leading capacity planning, production scheduling, and resource allocation to meet demanding aerospace customer requirements.
Driving continuous improvement, lean manufacturing practices, and operational excellence.
Managing budgets and delivering P&L accountability for a £15m turnover business.
Developing, mentoring, and motivating a skilled workforce to achieve business objectives.
Partnering with senior leadership to deliver strategic growth and operational improvements.Requirements:
Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar leadership role within aerospace or a casting environment.
Knowledge/experience of investment casting, complex casting, or comparable intricate processes - preferred.
Strong leadership and team development skills with the ability to inspire at all levels.
Demonstrable experience in capacity planning, production control, and P&L management.
A results-driven mindset with a focus on operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.What's on offer:
