Operations Manager
Location: Civic Campus, Euclid Street, SN1 2JG
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Working Hours: Mon – Fri, 09:00 – 17:00, 37 Hours per week
Pay Rate: £ 51.89 per hour

Job Responsibilities
Lead and improve the council's repair service.
Manage large repairs for housing and corporate assets, ensuring compliance with standards.
Oversee staffing, budgets of approximately £10m, and equipment for efficient service delivery.
Lead procurement and manage maintenance contracts.
Person Specifications
Must Have
Strong knowledge of building construction, property maintenance, and housing standards.
Proven experience in leading operational teams and managing high-value budgets in housing or local authority settings.
Willingness to be on-site supporting operational teams 4 out of 5 days.
Nice to Have
Experience with procurement processes.
