💰 Salary: £68,000–£70,000 (rising to £72,000 after 6 months for the right candidate)
🕒 Hours: 40 hours per week (typically 9–5 with flexibility)

Overview:
We’re seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead and develop the manufacturing and engineering functions of a leading production business in Lancashire. This is a key role for an ambitious leader who thrives in a results-driven, continuous improvement environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensuring production, quality, and delivery targets are met.
• Maintain and improve health & safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
• Lead, develop, and motivate the operations team to achieve business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement projects across the site.
• Collaborate closely with departments such as Quality, Planning, Warehouse, and Sales.
• Deliver exceptional customer service through consistent OTIF performance (98%+).
• Produce and present performance reports with clear improvement actions.
Requirements:
• Proven track record in manufacturing operations management.
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills.
• Financial and commercial awareness.
• Experience in modern manufacturing techniques; injection moulding knowledge advantageous.
• Excellent influencing and problem-solving skills.
