Job Description
Are you an Operations Manager experienced in managing deep excavations for utility capital projects? If so then read on!
Our client is a leading utility company with a healthy order book with multiple clients. Due to an increase in workload they are looking to expand their management team with an experienced Operations Manager to oversee deep excavation utility mains replacement projects.
Salary to £90k | Company Car / Allowance + Fuel card | Annual Bonus | Stakeholder Pension | 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Operations Manager Key Essentials:
* As Operations Manager, your role will involve directly managing a team of Project Managers and Supervisors overseeing deep excavation utility works under CDM Regulations
* Overall management of a large workforce of various skillsets
* Conducting regular site progress meetings with the client
* Ensuring that all projects are constructed in a safe manner as per designs and that they are documented and recorded correctly
* Working closely with the commercial team, ensuring that all aspects of NEC forms of contract are captured / reported
* Overall responsibility for ensuring that all required plant and materials are on-site when required
Operations Manager Requirements:
* Previous senior management experience of multiple deep excavation capital utility works under CDM regulations
* Experience in the management of a large workforce
* Excellent commercial awareness including NEC3 forms of contract
