EXCELLENT OPERATIONS MANAGER /SHEQ MANAGER POSITION JUST OPENED WITH ESTABLISHED WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING COMPANY IN EAST ANGLIA.
Title: Operations / SHEQ Manager with a strong background in Health and safety
Can also be a part time Health and Safety manager role
Client: My client is a leading Waste Management and Recycling company with a strong presence within the industry. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager, with a strong focus on Health and Safety practices to join their team.
Package: Up to £50,000 depending on hours
Can be full or part time
Location: Ipswich, Bury St Edmunds or surrounding areas
Previous industries: Waste Management: Recycling, Environmental, Muckaway, Hazardous, Household, Trade, Green and Confidential, Construction, Demolition, Aggregates, Quarrying, Plastics, Glass, Transfer Station, TWM, Renewable Energy.

ROLE:
This is a hands on position. You will be managing operatives in the yard and be willing to operate plant should the need arise.
In the position of Operations / SHEQ Manager, you will oversee all aspects of Operations, Compliance, Health and Safety and Quality control for the company and its employees.
You will also adhere to all Waste Management and Recycling policies, ensuring that all laws and legislation are complied to.
As a part time SHEQ Manager you will manage the IT systems and reporting, conduct toolbox talks and support other members of staff
EXPERIENCE: Operations Manager with a strong background in Health and safety
Excellent management skills and in – depth knowledge of Health and Safety practices is a MUST.
WAMITAB COTC is required for the Operations/ SHEQ role
NEBOSH General is required for the role
You will have gained previous exposure to the Waste Management and Recycling industry
You will possess fantastic written and verbal communication skills.
