Operations & Quality Manager – Mechanical / Electrical Machine Building
Location: South Yorkshire
Join a small, growing manufacturer where your ideas and leadership will make a real impact. This is a hands-on role overseeing design, production, quality, and operations across mechanical / electrical machine builds.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead design reviews and ensure accurate, up-to-date drawings.
* Improve workflow, scheduling, and production processes.
* Manage purchasing, supplier performance, and cost control.
* Oversee machining, testing, and quality standards.
* Drive continuous improvement across design, safety, and efficiency.
* Mentor and motivate a skilled, multi-disciplinary team.
What You’ll Need:
* Strong background in mechanical/electrical engineering or manufacturing.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
* Proficient in MS Office and familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
* Passion for quality, teamwork, and process improvement.
