Job Title: Operations Supervisor
Location: Aylesbury, office based
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Working hours: 7am - 5pm (30-minute lunch break)
Salary: £33,517.00 per annum

Customer Service & Communication:
Handle inbound calls from customers, drivers, and clients.
Respond to emails regarding quotes, queries, and complaints.
Ensure customer satisfaction and maintain strong client relationships.Transport Management System (TMS) Operations:
Manage customer jobs and consignments using TMS.
Accept and allocate jobs; communicate updates to all parties.
Ensure proper documentation and resolve discrepancies promptly.Driver Coordination:
Process driver paperwork and provide job-specific instructions.
Ensure daily defect sheets are completed.Planning & Resource Allocation:
Collaborate with the Operations Manager to allocate driver resources.
Work with the Warehouse Manager to plan deliveries efficiently.
Monitor and distribute collections and deliveries effectively.Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records for all jobs and complaints.
Book deliveries and manage redelivery charges.Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in using web-based systems and Microsoft Office
Experience in transport or logistics operations, is desirable but not essential
Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS) is beneficialHow to apply:
