We are currently supporting a large-scale digital transformation programme and seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Integrations Specialist to join an established technical team working on complex and evolving change initiatives.
This role will focus on delivering and enhancing a range of integrations and custom components within Oracle Cloud. You’ll work across the full development lifecycle—building new functionality, extending existing workstreams, and managing integration deliverables within a structured process.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a variety of integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and related tools.
* Develop, maintain, and enhance custom elements using Oracle VBCS.
* Work from detailed Statements of Work / task briefs to build and extend integrations.
* Produce and review technical documentation including physical integration designs and release notes.
* Collaborate closely with the wider development and project teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
* Support integration of existing systems with new functionality as part of an ongoing transformation programme.
Essential Skills & Experience
* 3+ years’ development experience.
* 2+ years’ hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
* Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud.
* Strong capability in integration development & unit testing (SOAP/REST/JSON), using tools such as Postman and Curl.
* Oracle VBCS experience for custom application development.
* Experience working with system interfaces (predominantly PaaS).
* Familiarity with technologies including OAUTH, IAM, JWT, GIT, XML, JSON, XSLT.
* Solid understanding of integration best practice and architectural patterns.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
* Exposure to public cloud technologies and associated security/IAM controls.
* Understanding of change/release processes and DevOps practices.
* Experience supporting technical delivery, issue resolution, and quality assurance.
* Knowledge of security best practices for new service development.
Constraints:
Candidates submitted for this role must be Sole British nationals, to confirm:
* They are a British citizen, and
* They have been a resident in the UK for at least two of the last 5 years
Due to the nature of this work Government security clearance if not already held will need to be obtained.
The minimum clearance required for this role is SC.
(Although advantageous, it is not a requirement that an individual already holds Security Clearance.)
Candidates who do not currently hold clearance must be able to obtain the appropriate level of clearance for the role specified. Short-listed candidates will be submitted for vetting procedures before being formally offered the position. This process can take 6-8 weeks.
