The Company

Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer within the fenestration industry, specialising in the manufacture and supply of high-quality aluminium windows, doors, and glazing systems.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Aluminium Order Processor to join their team in Sheffield.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Order Processor with strong aluminium product knowledge to join a reputable and expanding business within the window and door industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing aluminium window and door orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring specifications meet customer and manufacturing requirements. The role will involve liaising closely with customers, internal departments, and suppliers to ensure smooth order flow from quotation through to production and delivery.

Previous aluminium fenestration experience is essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities

  * Processing aluminium window and door orders accurately using internal systems and software.

  * Reviewing technical specifications, dimensions, and product configurations.

  * Liaising with customers regarding order details, amendments, and delivery schedules.

  * Working closely with production, estimating, and sales teams to ensure orders are processed correctly.

  * Interpreting technical drawings and product specifications.

  * Ensuring all orders meet manufacturing and system requirements.

  * Managing order amendments and resolving technical queries where required.

  * Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems.

  * Supporting customer service and providing updates throughout the order process.

  * Ensuring deadlines and production schedules are met.

Requirements

  * Previous experience as an Order Processor within the window and door industry.

  * Strong aluminium windows and doors experience is essential.

  * Good technical understanding of aluminium systems and products.

  * Experience using order processing or window design software.

  * Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.

  * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

  * Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

  * Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  * Good IT and administration skills.

Desirable Experience

  * Experience with aluminium systems such as Senior, Smart, Schüco, Reynaers, Cortizo, AluK, or similar.

  * Experience using software such as Logikal, Business Micros, First Degree, Evolution, or Window Designer.
