Astute's Power team is partnering with a leading energy provider to recruit an Outage, Project and Reliability Engineer for its Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) plant in Nottinghamshire.
This Outage, Project and Reliability Engineer position comes with a salary of £51,212 to £63,262 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities and duties of the Outage, Project and Reliability Engineer role
Reporting to the Outage, Project and Reliability Manager, you will:
Support the delivery of outage strategies, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
Analyse plant performance and develop improvements to enhance availability and reliability.
Manage and support engineering projects from concept through to completion, including modifications, upgrades and statutory maintenance.
Oversee maintenance and service contracts, ensuring compliance with safety, regulatory and quality standards.
Provide technical guidance to operations and maintenance teams to achieve engineering excellence.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, delivering measurable benefits to plant performance and cost efficiency.
 Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Degree in engineering or equivalent experience within electrical or mechanical disciplines.
Demonstrable experience in plant engineering, maintenance, and reliability within power generation or heavy industry.
Knowledge of legislation such as PSSR, DSEAR, and COMAH.
Proven experience managing outages, inspections and asset integrity programmes.
Strong understanding of reliability-centred maintenance and risk-based inspection methodologies.
Competence in contract management and project delivery.
NEBOSH or IOSH highly desirable
