Location: Preston Rate: £90-£110 per day Contract: Full-time
About the Role
A specialist SEN school in Preston seeks an experienced Outdoor Education Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will develop and deliver engaging outdoor learning programs for students with diverse special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver adapted outdoor education sessions for SEN students
Conduct thorough risk assessments for all activities
Create progressive outdoor curriculum building confidence and skills
Support students to access challenging activities through differentiation
Maintain outdoor learning equipment and spaces
Collaborate with classroom teachers to connect outdoor and indoor learning
Requirements
Outdoor education qualification or substantial experience
Experience working with SEN students
Valid First Aid certification
Excellent risk assessment and management skills
DBS check required
