This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives outside the classroom, has a strong rapport with young people, and can deliver structured and impactful outdoor learning programmes. You’ll play a vital role in engaging students in team building, personal development, and curriculum enrichment activities – all set against the backdrop of nature.
About the Role:
Deliver exciting and purposeful outdoor learning sessions that support personal and academic growth.
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to develop and lead tailored activities for small groups and whole classes.
Support students in building resilience, confidence, and life skills through structured outdoor experiences.
Monitor engagement and progress, contributing to students’ broader educational development.
Maintain safety and risk assessments for all outdoor learning sessions and ensure best practice in health and safety.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience working with young people in an educational or youth work setting.
Be passionate about outdoor education and its impact on young people’s personal development.
Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Be confident in leading activities such as bushcraft, outdoor games, teambuilding, or physical challenges.
Have a calm, supportive, and enthusiastic approach to working with children and young people.
