Key Stage One Nurture Teacher – Wigan
£26–£30 per hour (PAYE)

We’re seeking compassionate KS1 educators in Wigan to work one-to-one with young learners who are currently outside mainstream education. Using relational, child-centred approaches, you’ll support their academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and help prepare them for a smooth transition back into school.

Key responsibilities:

What we’re looking for:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with KS1 teaching experience
*
Understanding of SEND, SEMH, EBSA, and trauma-informed approaches
*
Patience, empathy, and belief in personalised learning
*
Experience or interest in nurture-based practices and Theraplay is advantageous but not essential
