Job Description

Primary Behaviour Outreach Worker - St Albans & Hatfield Salary: H5-H6 (depending on skills and experience) | Term Time Only | Flexible working considered Tradewind Recruitment is supporting an Alternative Provision Academy in the recruitment of a Primary Behaviour Outreach Worker to work across primary schools in St Albans and Hatfield. This role will see you working as part of a dedicated Primary Outreach Team, providing practical support and guidance to schools in managing pupils' behaviour. You will work with identified pupils individually or in small groups, offering tailored strategies, advice, and support to children, parents, and school staff. We are looking for someone who: Is passionate about supporting children with additional or behavioural needs. Works effectively as part of a team, collaborating with schools, outreach colleagues, parents, and other professionals. Is resilient, flexible, and ready to tackle new challenges. Brings creativity and resourcefulness to problem-solving. Is committed to making a meaningful difference to children's educational journeys, regardless of their starting point. Demonstrates enthusiasm for personal and professional development. Has a solid understanding of Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) support strategies for primary-aged pupils. Holds a full driving license and has access to a car, as travel between schools is required (petrol costs will be covered by the academy).Key Details: Term-time contract. Salary grading H5-H6, dependent on skills and experience. Flexible working options may be available. This role is subject to funding and may require adjustments accordingly.The academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
