Overhead Line Worker
Location: Northwest England
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum + 10% bonus + company van
Type: Full Time. Flexible

We're now hiring an Overhead Line Worker to join their frontline team-delivering vital infrastructure support and responding to incidents where it matters most. If you're quick-thinking, hands-on, and thrive in critical environments, this could be your next big step. This role is perfect for someone who is disciplined in their approach, meticulous with detail and passionate about health and safety.
Responsibilities
- Construct, maintain, and repair overhead lines and equipment up to 132kV.
- Work at height on poles and towers using appropriate safety systems.
- Respond to faults and outages, restoring service swiftly and safely.
- Support network resilience by helping trial smart fault-location technologies.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Operate as part of a 24/7 standby rota for emergency response.
What we require from you
- Proven experience in overhead line construction and maintenance
- Trade qualification or NVQ Level 2 in Electrical Power Engineering.
- HV operational authorisations.
- Strong working knowledge of safe systems of work, risk assessments, and relevant codes of practice.
- NRSWA accreditation (bonus)
- Full UK driving licence (Categories B & B+E ).
- Adaptability, team spirit, and customer focus.
