Job Description

P&C Project Engineer - Wind Farm (Client Side, Poland)

Role Purpose
Lead and manage all Protection & Control (P&C) aspects of a wind farm project from development to commissioning, ensuring compliance with Polish grid requirements and successful energisation.

Key Responsibilities
* Define P&C philosophy for: 
o Wind farm MV network (typically 20-33 kV) 
o Substation (HV/MV, e.g. 110 kV+) 
o Grid connection point 
* Ensure compliance with: 
o Polish grid code and requirements from Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne 
o Relevant IEC standards (International Electrotechnical Commission) 
* Review and approve: 
o Protection schemes and coordination studies 
o Relay settings and SLDs 
o SCADA and control system design 
* Act as client interface with: 
o EPC contractors 
o OEMs (e.g. ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric) 
* Oversee: 
o FAT / SAT testing 
o Commissioning of protection systems 
o Grid compliance and energisation 
* Support documentation and handover to operations

Requirements
* Degree in Electrical Engineering 
* Experience in HV/MV protection systems and substations 
* Experience on wind or grid connection projects 
* Knowledge of IEC 61850 and SCADA systems 
* Familiarity with Polish grid compliance processes
