P6 Planner - Civils 

📍 Bristol (Office & Site-Based)
 💰 Competitive Rate / Salary (DOE)

We are currently seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join a leading civil engineering contractor, supporting the planning of a major train station redevelopment. This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in a high-profile infrastructure project, focused specifically on the station and associated civil engineering works (not track design).

The Role

As a P6 Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing detailed programmes throughout the design phase. You will work closely with design teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure timelines are realistic, coordinated, and effectively communicated.

This is a client-facing role, requiring confidence in presenting programme updates and engaging with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain design programmes using Primavera P6
Coordinate closely with design and engineering teams
Track progress against key design milestones
Identify risks, delays, and programme impacts
Provide clear updates and reports to clients and stakeholders
Support planning strategy across station and civils elements

Requirements

Proven experience as a Planner within civil engineering or infrastructure projects
Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6
Experience on station or large infrastructure design projects (desirable)
Strong understanding of design-phase planning (not construction-only)
