Job Description
Teamforce Labour are seeking an experienced P6 Planner to join our team on a major civils project in Leiston.
This is a permanent, long-term position offering both job security and the opportunity to work on a high-profile infrastructure project. The role will be split between office-based and site-based activities, ensuring you’re closely involved in both planning and delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, monitor, and update detailed construction programmes in Primavera P6 to ensure works are delivered on schedule.
Analyse project progress, identify risks or delays, and provide mitigation strategies.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams to ensure accurate programme integration with project controls.
Attend site progress meetings, update schedules, and produce performance reports.
Liaise with site supervisors to ensure programme reflects current progress and realistic forecasts.
Prepare and maintain look-ahead programmes and short-term plans for operational teams.
Required Skills & Experience:
Demonstrable experience as a Planner within the civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction sector.
Proficiency in Primavera P6 (essential).
Good understanding of construction sequencing, critical path analysis, and earned value management.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Flexibility to work between the project office and site locations.
