Monday-Friday 9 am – 5 pm
Our client who are based near Telford are seeking a highly organised and proactive PA to provide direct support to the Managing Director while overseeing the administration for the HR and Health & Safety functions. This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to work closely with senior management, coordinate business operations, and play a key part in people management and compliance.
Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:
* Managing the Managing Director’s diary, travel, and meeting arrangements, including occasional overseas travel.
* Handling correspondence, screening calls and emails, and preparing reports, presentations, and documents.
* Coordinating office administration, including IT, telecoms, office security, supplies, and vehicle fleet management.
* Supporting business projects and liaising with suppliers, consultants, and external stakeholders.
* Assisting with recruitment, preparing contracts, and managing inductions and appraisals.
* Monitoring and updating HR policies and ensuring compliance with employment legislation.
* Managing employee records, holidays, absence, training, and performance processes.
* Overseeing Health & Safety requirements in collaboration with consultants, ensuring regulatory compliance and staff safety.
* Promoting a professional company image through excellent internal and external relationships.
Skills and Experience
* A solid senior level Administration background, ideally where you have been a PA or similar experience.
* Some experience in supporting with HR would be a great advantage.
* Strong administrative and organisational background with ability to multitask and prioritise.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
* High level of discretion, tact, and diplomacy.
* Self-motivated with initiative, confidence, and meticulous attention to detail.
* Valid driving licence required due to location.
