Package Repair Coordinator

Location: Lincoln (Hybrid)

Hourly Rate: £20.00 - £25.00 PAYE

Contract Length: 6 months

Start Date: ASAP

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Package Repair Coordinator to manage and oversee the repair processes of various packages. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all repair activities are executed efficiently and that customer satisfaction is maintained throughout the process. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the package repair process from receipt to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to facilitate repairs and ensure timely delivery of services.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, including tracking progress and documenting any issues or delays.
Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their repairs, providing updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
Analyse repair processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and quality of service.
Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Assist in the training and development of junior staff members involved in the repair process.
Prepare regular reports on repair activities, identifying trends and areas for improvement. 

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within logistics or package repair environments.
Strong understanding of repair processes and quality control standards.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Proficient in using computer systems and software relevant to package tracking and repair management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A degree or relevant certification in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
