Location: Gillingham, Dorset

Platinum Recruitment are currently working with a well known, sustainable cosmetics company that require a Temporary Packaging Designer to cover them on a short-term basis in Gillingham, Dorset.

Briefing suppliers & liaising with them on tooling projects
Signing off technical drawings & reviewing samples
Providing a packaging risk assessment
Requesting line trials & liaising with the production team on new projects
Liaising with the purchasing team to request initial costs, lead time and MOQ details
Assessing testing requirements
Conducting transit trials and signing off
Reviewing artworks and providing technical feedback
Attending first off production runs to sign off packaging
General admin; briefing change requests, e-filing drawings and development dataExperienced needed?
Related degree
IOP diploma
Over 5 years of experience within a packaging development role
