£15.87/hr (incl. shift allowance)
We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Packaging Machine Specialist to join a well-established manufacturing team in Port Talbot. This is a permanent opportunity for individuals with hands-on experience in fast-paced, high-volume production environments, particularly within packaging or FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor automated machinery to ensure consistent output and product quality
Perform routine checks, basic maintenance, and respond to minor faults
Follow strict safety, hygiene, and compliance protocols
Collaborate with shift teams to meet production targets and minimise downtime
Shift Pattern (rotating weekly):
Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00
Week 2: 22:00 – 06:00
Week 3: 14:00 – 22:00
Pay & Benefits:
£12.21 per hour base rate
30% shift allowance = £15.87 per hour total
Permanent contract with full training and onboarding

What We’re Looking For:
Proven experience in fast-moving goods production, ideally involving pharmaceutical, or metal-based packaging (e.g. tins, containers, closures)
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Comfortable working to targets in a shift-based environment
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
