Packaging Procurement Executive
Location: Alconbury
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week
Salary £32,000
Are you organised, detail-focused, and passionate about procurement? We’re working with a thriving business in the FMCG sector who are looking for a Packaging Procurement Executive to join their busy procurement team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to build your career within procurement, playing a key role in ensuring packaging materials are delivered on time and in full to support smooth operations
Duties
Managing the procurement of packaging materials including sleeves, boxes, labels, and equipment.
Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and responsiveness.
Maintaining accurate data across procurement systems – pricing, forecasts, and lead times.
Working closely with Supply Chain, Technical, NPD, and Commercial teams to align packaging with business and customer needs.
Supporting new product launches and seasonal peaks (Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Christmas).
Monitoring supplier performance and resolving issues to avoid disruption.
Ensuring invoices, forecasts, and compliance data are up to date and accurate.What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a procurement or supply chain role, ideally within packaging or FMCG.
Excellent organisation skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident communicator with the ability to build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Proactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple deadlinesBefore You Apply
