For 30 years this exceptional business have made solid oral dosage forms that they provide to pharmacies, supermarkets and more around the country.
As part of a successful growth plan, our client is now looking to hire for a PACKAGING SUPERVISOR.
The Role
This role reports to the Packaging and Distribution Manager, and is an essential supportive position to this position.
The role includes ordering products, raising POs for packaging, machine parts, safety equipment etc, Stock management, Deviations, Staffing Support, Health and safety, machine maintenance and more
This position is ideal for someone with packaging experience, that is looking to work for a SME and grow their career, eventually heading towards a more managerial position internally.
The Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role with a manufacturing or distribution environment
* Strong working knowledge of GMP and GDP regulations
* Strong understanding of packaging process and distribution logistics
* Demonstrable background in management and people leadership (training and development)
* Competent in the use of stock control systems
Nice to have
* Experience of working within an MHRA regulated facility
* Experience of working in the pharmaceutical industry
* Knowledge of controlled drug handling and compliance
* IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification
* Experience with supplier management
Remunerations
£40,000 - £55,000 plus benefits (Depending on Experience)Before You Apply
