Location: Staverton, Cheltenham (occasional cover at the Bishops Cleeve site may be required)
Working hours: Monday & Tuesday: 8:30-16:30, Wednesday & Thursday: 8:00-16:30 & Friday's 08:00-16:00.
Hourly Pay: £12.60 p/h
Contract Type: 12 weeks temporary-permanent.
Our client, a leading organisation in the packaging and logistics industry, is seeking a skilled and reliable Packer to join their team at their site in Staverton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in manual handling, picking, and packing to become an integral part of a dedicated team.
Here's what a typical day as a Packer looks like:
Packing items based on packing specifications using a variety of materials requested by the client.
Picking customer orders accurately using a pick sheet.
Enter client order details into their systems with precision and attention to detail.
Print labels and label picked/packaged orders, ensuring they are ready for dispatch.
Scan and file documents to maintain accurate records.
Support with stock counts and promptly report any discrepancies.
Show great attention to detail and presentational skills when packing customer orders.
Provide support to other departments during busy periods.Requirements:
Basic DBS check will be required- Adecco will complete on the behalf of the successful candidate.
Previous experience in a warehouse environment, particularly in a packing role.
Familiarity with manual handling techniques.
Proficient in picking customer orders.
Basic computer skills and the ability to enter data accurately into systems.
Excellent attention to detail to ensure all orders are packed correctly.
