Job Description
Are you a passionate Registered Children’s Nurse or Paediatric Nurse looking for your next leadership opportunity? We are recruiting a highly skilled Children’s Nurse in the North West Liverpool region to lead and manage complex care packages for children in the community.
As a Registered Children’s Nurse, you will take the clinical lead in setting up, coordinating, and monitoring personalised care for children and young people with complex medical needs. This role offers a unique blend of remote working, in-community support, and flexible leadership, ideal for an experienced Paediatric Nurse ready to make a meaningful impact.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead setup and day-to-day management of community-based complex care packages.

Complete clinical assessments, care plans, and risk assessments.
*
Oversee care for conditions including:
*
PEG feeding
*
Tracheostomy care
*
Epilepsy
*
Life-limiting or long-term conditions
*
Supervise and support a team of nurses and healthcare assistants.
*
Deliver clinical training, staff competencies, and supervision.
*
Liaise with families, commissioners, schools, and multidisciplinary teams.
*
Ensure compliance with NMC standards, CQC regulations, and safeguarding frameworks.
*
Participate in a shared on-call rota for clinical support.
This role is ideal for a Children’s Nurse or Paediatric Nurse with strong clinical experience and leadership skills who is confident delivering care in the home, school, and respite settings. Requirements:

NMC-registered Children’s Nurse / Paediatric Nurse
*
Minimum 3 years’ post-registration experience
*
Strong understanding of complex paediatric needs
*
Full UK driving licence (company car provided)

Confident communicator and clinical leader
