Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist - Mainstream or SEN Schools
Location: South London
Pay Rates: Band 5 - Up to £25 per hour | Band 6 - Up to £34 per hour
Contract: Full time and Part time
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work within mainstream and/or Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools across South London. This is an exciting opportunity to support children's development, enabling them to participate fully in their educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and provide therapy to children with a variety of developmental, sensory, and physical needs
Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to children's needs
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support children's progress
Provide advice and training to school staff on occupational therapy strategies
Maintain thorough records and contribute to service evaluations
Person Specification:
HCPC registered Occupational Therapist
Experience working with paediatric populations, ideally in educational settings (mainstream and/or SEN schools)
Knowledge of child development and occupational therapy approaches for children with diverse needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage caseloads efficiently
