Job Description
Eden Brown Synergy is currently recruiting for an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to work within a Special School setting in Kingston & Richmond, on behalf of Achieving for Children.
Location: Kingston & Richmond
Pay Rate: £37.11 per hour
Client: Achieving for Children
Contract: Ongoing
About the Role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Paediatric OT to join a supportive and collaborative team providing specialist therapy to children and young people within a special school environment. You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs to maximise their participation, independence, and functional skills in daily activities both at school and at home.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for children and young people.
Develop and implement individualised therapy plans to support sensory, motor, and functional development.
Work closely with teachers, parents, and multi-disciplinary professionals to ensure therapy goals are embedded in the school day.
Provide training and advice to staff and families to promote ongoing support for therapy interventions.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records and reports.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
HCPC registration
Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a school, community, or paediatric healthcare setting
Strong understanding of sensory integration and child development
Excellent communication, teamwork, and record-keeping skills
