Job Description

We are searching for an experienced Paid Ads Manager to lead our clients paid advertising department. You will manage and optimise advertising campaigns across platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google Ads, LinkedIn and TikTok. Additionally, you will utilise sales attribution software to effectively track and analyse ad performance. This pivotal role involves handling multiple client accounts, managing monthly ad budgets ranging from five to seven figures, and consistently delivering profitable Return on Ad Spend (ROAS). You will report directly to the CEO and you will play a key role in driving departmental innovation and growth. The role is offered on a hybrid working basis, 3 days in the office (located in Exeter, Devon) and 2 days working from home. To be considered for the role you MUST live within a commutable distance of Exeter and you MUST have the Right to Work in the UK without Company Sponsorship. Responsibilities Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimise advertising campaigns across major platforms (Meta, Google Ads, LinkedIn, TikTok). Budget Oversight: Manage substantial advertising budgets for multiple clients, ensuring optimal allocation and maximised returns. Performance Optimisation: Conduct continuous analysis and A/B testing to improve campaign performance metrics including ROAS, CPA, and CTR. Creative Development: Collaborate with creative teams to develop compelling ad concepts, write detailed creative briefs, and oversee creative production. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a small team, driving departmental innovation and maintaining industry-leading practices. Reporting: Regularly report campaign results and strategic insights directly to the CEO and clients, clearly communicating successes and identifying opportunities for improvement. Key Requirements Proven experience managing and optimising paid ad campaigns on Meta, Google Ads, and LinkedIn (TikTok experience advantageous). Demonstrable experience handling client budgets in excess of five figures monthly, ideally within an agency setting. Expertise in campaign performance analysis, including familiarity with analytics tools and attribution platforms (Google Analytics, Hyros). Strong track record in delivering profitable ROAS through strategic optimisation. Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills. Creative mindset, capable of producing and guiding innovative advertising strategies and content. Degree in Marketing, Business, Advertising or another related field preferred.
