We’re looking for a skilled Paint Prepper to join our growing collision repair team. As a Paint Prepper, you’ll prepare vehicles for painting by sanding, masking, priming, and repairing minor dents or scratches to ensure flawless finishes. The ideal Paint Prepper has experience with spray guns, paint mixing, and a keen eye for detail to maintain the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities as a Paint Prepper:
Inspect vehicles and identify areas needing repair before painting
Prepare surfaces with sanding, masking, and priming for a perfect finish
Apply primers, basecoats, and clearcoats using spray guns and other equipment
Follow health and safety protocols while maintaining a clean workspace
Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely project completionWhat we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Paint Prepper in a collision repair or automotive bodyshop
Knowledge of water-based and solvent-based paints, paint codes, and specifications
Strong attention to detail and ability to work meticulously
Team player with flexibility, initiative, and a can-do attitude
