Paint Shop Operative
Location: Chatham, Kent
Salary: £13.07 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and successful manufacturing client seeking a reliable and hardworking Paintshop Operative to join their team.
This is a hands-on role within a busy production environment, offering excellent opportunities for overtime and long-term stability.
Key Duties
  * Packaging coated parts ready for safe transport
  * Preparing workpieces for the coating process
  * Assisting the coating sprayer with daily production activities
  * Hand blasting components to specification
  * Carrying out quality inspections on completed items
  * Reading and completing internal production paperwork
  * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  * Supporting colleagues to achieve production targets
What We're Looking For
  * Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic
  * Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  * Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
  * Comfortable carrying out physical, hands-on work
  * Able to read and understand work instructions and internal documentation
  * Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous but is not essential
