My client is a prestigious experimental branding and exhibition agency based in Surrey and looking to recruit and add to their paint department, providing an excellent opportunity to join our company at a very exciting time.
Role Overview
The role will be to work within the in-house paint department, pre finishing, spray painting props and furniture and set panels generally using polyurethane paint to a high standard.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone wishing to join an established business and looking to progress & move forward with their own career, in an environment that is dedicated to performing quality work and providing fast, responsive and outstanding service for their customers.
Essential Duties
Prepare parts for spray painting
Following principles and practices of spray painting application
Operation of all spraying equipment guns and similar
Observe machines gauges and equipment operation to detect defects
Determine paint flow and coating quality by performing visual inspections
Knowledge of wash and pre-treatments
Ensure that all components are produced/sprayed efficiently and are consistent with company goals for quality and customer time frames
Monitor quality standards and processes are always met & used
Ensure safety guidelines are met to assure a safe working environment
Load and unload parts or products onto trolleys and racks
To be considered for this role, you will come from a similar background within spray painting within the commercial furniture sector.
