The Painter will work closely with other team members to achieve project goals while maintaining safety and cleanliness in the workspace.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using hand tools and power tools.
* Mix paints and other materials according to specifications.
* Inspect completed work for quality and adherence to specifications.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
* Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Skills
* Understanding of mechanical processes related to painting tasks.
* Experience as a paint sprayer is essential.
* Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in painting applications.
* Strong painting skills with attention to detail for achieving high-quality finishes.
* Basic maths skills for measuring areas and calculating paint quantities accurately.
