Job Description
Your new company
You will be working for a housing association supporting the refit team.
Your new role
You will be completing the decorating and painting work after the team have fitted a new kitchen or bathroom in a property.
Type of work you will be doing include:-
Remove and refit fixtures and fittings
Make good tiling
General Preparation work, filling
Wallpapering
General Painting
Glosswork/StainingThe base is located Evercreech Junction Industrial Estate, BA4 6NA where you will collect your van and materials. You will be covering the Somerset region.
You will need a full driving license.
Working hours are 8-4.30 pm.
What you'll need to succeed
Painting & Decorating Qualification NVQ or equivalent or demonstrate previous significant experience in painting & decorating.
Ability to work within manufacturer's requirements and Industry British Standards.
Ability to diagnose and undertake repair work to domestic properties, including specifying the materials required and the ability to undertake work in accordance with training and good industry practice.
Competent in the use of smartphone technology and PDAs, including the ability to send and receive email, calendar appointments, documents, photographs and for work scheduling purposes.
Full driving license
