Painter & Decorator Required - Sheffield
Social Housing Void Property Scheme
We are currently looking to recruit experienced Painters & Decorators to join an ongoing void property programme in Sheffield. The role involves internal redecoration works on empty social housing units as part of a wider property turnaround team.
Key Details:
Location: Sheffield
Project Type: Social housing - void properties
Duration: Ongoing work
Start Time: Immediate start available
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30
Rate of Pay: £19.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Payment Type: CIS
Responsibilities:
Internal painting and decorating of vacant domestic properties
Preparing surfaces including sanding, filling, and priming
Applying finishes including emulsion and gloss to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
Ensuring a clean, tidy, and safe working area at all times
Working in coordination with other trades and supervisors
Essential Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card
Full UK driving licence and access to own transport
Strong experience in painting & decorating, ideally in social housing or similar environments
Ability to work independently to high standards and within project deadlines
Own tools and PPE
