LEAD INFORMATION
Job Title - Painter Decorator
Site location - Northwest (Current jobs are - Ellesmere Port, Neston, Warrington)
Responsible to - Trades Manager
Purpose of the role - Residential housing contract, painting walls, ceilings, woodwork etc with emulsion and gloss.
KEY INFORMATION
Reason for vacancy - Increased demand
Contract - Ongoing
Hourly Rate - £16-£18ph
Hours – Monday to Friday 8am-4.30pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
The role - Our Ellesmere Port based Painting & Decorating contractor client is looking for Painter Decorators to support their existing team on jobs around the Northwest. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all painting tasks are completed to a high standard, contributing to the upkeep and enhancement of residential accommodation.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and doors.
* Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
* Manage time efficiently to complete tasks across multiple sites.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
KEY SKILLS REQUIRED
* Proven experience as a painter decorator, preferably with experience in residential or commercial properties.
* Driver's license and own transport (essential).
* Own tools (essential)
* Blue or above CSCS Card (essential).
* Excellent knowledge of painting techniques and materials.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethicBefore You Apply
