We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess strong communication skills. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail. This role requires the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or imperfections.
* Apply paint, stains, and finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Ensure proper mixing of paints and finishes for desired colour and consistency.
* Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
* Follow safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project requirements and progress.
* Complete projects within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in construction painting is preferred.
* Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and team members effectively.
* Valid driving licence is an advantage for transportation to various job sites.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
