Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Painter to join a site based in Derby, DE22, on a 6-month temporary contract. This is a great opportunity for a skilled Painter seeking consistent work, offering working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
* Location: Derby, DE22
* Pay Rate: £22 per hour via umbrella
* Duration: 6 months
* Hours: Monday to Friday
* 40 hours per week
As a Painter, you will be responsible for:
* Internal and external painting and decorating works
* Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and rubbing down
* Emulsion, gloss, and finishing works
* Basic plaster patching and making good repairs
* Minor handyman tasks and general maintenance support
* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard
* Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe
* Following all site health & safety procedures
As a Painter, you will need:
* Proven experience as a Painter / Decorator
* Basic plastering and making good experience
* General handyman skills would be beneficial
* Valid DBS check (essential)
