This role is crucial in providing specialist painting support across various areas of vessels, ensuring high quality surface preparation, coating application, and compliance with corrosion control and inspection standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform painting and surface preparation across multiple vessel areas, including weather decks, mooring decks, bridge top, mezz decks, tank tops, aft ramps, and casings
Execute track blasting, car deck preparation, and associated Coating, Corrosion, Inspection (CCI) programme activities
Ensure all work meets project specifications, health & safety regulations, and quality standards
Collaborate with the project team to support the timely completion of tank programme requirements
Job Requirements:
Proven experience in marine/industrial painting
Competent in all aspects of surface preparation, blasting, and coating application
Knowledge of CCI programme and inspection requirements
Ability to work across multiple areas of a vessel, both internal and external
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Contract info:
37 hours standard
On going contract
£17.07/h PAYE plus £2.06/h holiday accrual
