We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Repair Technician in Uddingston area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of equipment and machinery. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Repair Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that all equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven manufacturing environment is essential for this role.
Duties
* Diagnose faults in equipment and machinery using appropriate testing methods.
* Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
* Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate.
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
* Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely completion of repairs.
* Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in repair techniques.
Experience
* Proven experience as a Repair Technician or similar role is preferred.
* Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
* Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
* Relevant certifications or qualifications in engineering or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
