Job Description
Our client, a leading automotive accident repair centre located in Bridgend, South Wales, is seeking an experienced and professional Vehicle Panel Beater to join their busy bodyshop team. Duties of the Panel Beater:
* Replacement and repair of damaged automotive body panels
* Conduct chassis and framework repairs
* Accurately assess vehicle damage and determine suitable repair methods
* Carry out bumper and door repairs as required
* Ensure all panel beating works meet internal and third-party quality standards
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient and safe operation of the centre
* Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Requirements of the Panel Beater:
* Current or recent experience as a Vehicle Panel Beater
* Formal qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are desirable, but strong on-the-job experience will be considered
* Good eye for detail and quality workmanship
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team
* Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
* UK driving licence with minimal points
* ATA accreditation or experience working to BSI 10125 Kitemark Standards would be advantageous but is not essential
