Job Description
We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable bodyshop located in Exeter, Devon, for the position of Panel Beater. This role offers a significant opportunity for experienced motor trade professionals seeking stability and career progression within a well-established company.
Benefits:
Salary circa £38,500, depending on experience
Full-time position with Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 hours
Overtime and flexible working options available
20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service

Conduct panel beating and vehicle prep work to high standards
Assist with bodyshop repairs and prepare vehicles for painting or further work
Maintain a clean, organised workshop environment
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure a smooth workflow
Occasionally undertake paintwork if required, utilising multi-skilled abilities
Support the overall efficiency of the workshop operationsRequirements of a Panel Beater:
Proven experience as a Panel Beater / Prepper
Multiskilled approach, including occasional painting skills if necessary
Strong panel beating and vehicle preparation expertise
Good understanding of vehicle repair processes
Reliable, detail-oriented, and dedicated to delivering quality
