Job Description
Panel Beater / Spray Painter - Norwich
Contract Personnel are looking for an experienced Spray Painter / Panel Beater for our well-established client based in Norwich.
How does the day-to-day look?
Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs required.
Utilise hand tools and power tools to repair or replace vehicle panels.
Read and interpret schematics to understand the structure of vehicles.
Maintain equipment in good working condition, performing regular checks and repairs as needed.
Weld components where necessary to ensure structural integrity.
Assemble parts accurately to restore vehicles to their original condition.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines.
You will have:
Proven experience as a Spray painter / Panel Beater or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
Ability to read and understand technical schematics related to vehicle bodywork.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Good customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients.
Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during repairs.
Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, no weekends
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 DOE
