Job Description
We're recruiting an experienced Panel Wireman for a well-established manufacturing company with a strong heritage in industrial engineering and technical solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced manufacturing systems across diverse sectors including automotive, aerospace, and process industries.
Key Responsibilities:
* Wire and assemble electrical control panels for industrial processing equipment
* Interpret electrical drawings for manufacturing systems and integrated solutions
* Install and connect control components including PLCs, industrial sensors, and automation systems
* Undertake testing and fault-finding on electrical panels for high-performance industrial applications
* Ensure all electrical work meets rigorous quality standards and safety regulations
* Collaborate with engineering teams on technical solutions and system integration projects
* Maintain accurate documentation and quality records to international manufacturing standards
Essential Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Panel Wireman within industrial/manufacturing environments
* Strong ability to read complex electrical drawings and technical specifications
* Experience with industrial control systems, automation components, and process equipment
* Knowledge of electrical safety standards and manufacturing regulations
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding technical environment
* Relevant electrical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent)
