Role: Panel Wireman Salary: £30,000 | Location: Belvedere DA17 6AH | Hours: 8.30am – 4.30pm Reports to: Controls Lead | Term: Full-time, Permanent About the Role We’re seeking an experienced Panel Wireman with 5 years’ experience. Day to Day tasks is to build, wire and test bespoke control panels. Will need to work to time sensitive projects and requests from higher management team, whilst teaching and mentoring Apprentices. Key Responsibilities •To lay-out and wire Control systems to wiring diagrams/Drawings •Metal work (Cutting & Drilling) Experience Required •Reading Circuit Diagrams/Drawings •Wiring Control Systems Panels – following wiring diagrams/drawings (Excludes Soldering not required) •Basic Electric Knowledge, 3phase. •Completing test documentation. •Circuit testing & fault finding •Live testing control panels (Not Essential) •Knowledge of Generators/PLC (Not Essential) •Use of power tools, mainly drill and jigsaws •Counting and Managing stock (Stock Take monthly & Yearly) •Working Individually and within a team including Apprentices •Self-driven and willingness to learn •Own hand Tools Personal Attributes •Methodical, safety‑first, and quality‑driven, strong attention to detail. •Punctual and independent. •Clear communicator with management and colleagues •Proactive problem solver, comfortable under time pressure during commissioning. •Team player who can also work independently and mentor others.
