Junior Panel Wirer
Location: Milton Keynes
Type: Temporary to Permanent (after 3 months)
Hours: Monday – Friday
Pay: £15.68ph + £1.47per hour Holiday Pay/ £25,396.80 per annum
About the Role
An excellent opportunity to join a leading controls panel manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. We’re seeking a Junior Panel Wirer who’s eager to develop their skills and grow within the business. After a successful 3-month period, this role offers a permanent position with genuine progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate panels and fit electrical components according to detailed engineering drawings.
Perform drilling, tapping, trunking, and conduit work on panels.
Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, fuses, PLCs, power supplies, motors, and drives.
Wire control panels – crimping, soldering, terminating, and stripping wires.
Carry out basic testing of control panels.
Skills & Experience Required
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.
Demonstrable electrical knowledge or a formal electrical qualification.
Eagerness to learn and progress within the company.
