Job Title: Paper Core Driller Technician
Location: Kent, ME6 5AX
Salary: £12.25 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 14:00 22:00 (40 hours per week)
Overtime: Available on weighbridge and gatehouse duties
Are you looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are currently seeking a Paper Core Driller Technician to join a leading packaging manufacturer.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the quality of paper rolls used in production, helping to deliver high-standard packaging products to customers.
The Role
As a Paper Core Driller Technician, you will:
* Operate core drilling equipment to take samples from incoming paper rolls.
* Inspect and test samples for quality, consistency, and compliance with standards.
* Record findings accurately and report non-conforming material.
* Work closely with production and quality teams to maintain high standards.
* Ensure safe use of machinery and adherence to site health & safety policies.
* Carry out basic equipment checks and maintenance.

* Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, or quality control is an advantage.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Ability to operate equipment safely and follow procedures.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
