Brook Street Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and highly respected Financial Services firm in Belfast who are expanding their team. They are open to considering candidates at different stages of their paraplanning career - from developing professionals to seasoned experts - offering the chance to grow within a supportive, high-performing environment.
This is more than a back-office role. You'll be a trusted partner to advisers, playing a key role in shaping positive client outcomes through accurate, compliant and well-structured advice.
The Role
As a Paraplanner, you will support advisers by delivering high-quality documentation and technical insight that underpins effective financial planning strategies.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing clear, compliant suitability reports and client documentation within agreed timescales
Analysing client information to support tailored financial planning recommendations
Producing detailed reports and client presentations
Responding to client and adviser queries with accuracy and professionalism
Ensuring all work aligns with FCA and internal compliance standards
Maintaining accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements
Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development
Criteria
The client will speak with para-planners at a range of experience levels. You might already be highly experienced, or you could be progressing your career and looking for the right environment to develop further.
You will ideally have:
Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards)
Previous para planning experience (level considered)
Strong technical knowledge across financial planning products
Good understanding of investments, pensions, protection and savings
Awareness of suitability report standards and compliance requirements
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and related systems
A solid understanding of industry regulations and processesSalary will be depending on experience
