Location: Harrogate, hybrid working 3 days office, 2 days WFH.
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Benefits

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and qualified Paraplanner to join our clients Harrogate office. This role offers the opportunity to work within a global wealth management firm, supporting Financial Planners in delivering comprehensive and compliant financial advice. You will be responsible for research, report writing, and ensuring the highest standards of client service and regulatory adherence.
Key Responsibilities
Draft suitability reports with guidance from Financial Planners, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with Financial Planners to gather complete and accurate client information.
Interpret adviser meeting notes and prepare tailored recommendations with precision and care.
Provide technical input to advisers to support good consumer outcomes.
Ensure client experience aligns with company standards and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles.
Maintain high standards of data quality and compliance across all processes.
Update workflow systems to support accurate and timely management reporting.
Ensure workflows are current and accurately reflect case progress.
Promote and follow best practices for adviser support and client-facing processes.
Ensure all advice outcomes meet company compliance standards and FCA regulations.
Meet output targets for producing ongoing advice documentation.
Communicate effectively with Client Support, advisers, and other colleagues to ensure a seamless client experience.
Manage personal caseload efficiently and maintain up-to-date records.
Research and analyse existing client policies and schemes using appropriate software tools.
Obtain illustrations and Key Features documentation to support advice recommendations.
Assist the administration team with processing new business linked to your cases.
Maintain up-to-date technical and industry knowledge.
Perform ad hoc tasks as required.Requirements
Minimum proven experience in a Paraplanning role within a similar environment.
Familiarity with IT systems supporting financial planning services.
Strong technical knowledge and understanding of FCA Conduct of Business (COB) rules.
Diploma in Financial Planning (Level 4).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to manage workload under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and support others.Benefits
